Inspired by Germany's classic pairing of mustard and apple, this dish gently sautés thinly sliced turkey breast with apple wedges in a pan. Cooked with little oil, it stays light enough to pack into a lunchbox.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Sauté the turkey

6 min

Heat the olive oil in a pan, sauté the turkey slices with salt and black pepper for 6 minutes, and set aside on a plate.

2

Add the onion and apple

8 min

In the same pan, sauté the onion and apple slices for 8 minutes until soft.

3

Combine

6 min

Return the turkey to the pan, stir in the dijon mustard, and cook for another 6 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Reminder

Do not cut the turkey slices too thick; thick pieces dry out and toughen quickly in the pan. Allergens: contains mustard.
