Lokmahane takes its name from "lokma", the Sufi-tradition term for shared sustenance, and aims to bring Konya's home cooking to the table. By the brand's own description, its menu is built on old Konya home cooking shaped by Anatolian, Seljuk and Ottoman influences, including meat-and-fruit stews, noodle dishes, olive-oil stuffed vine leaves, tirit and desserts such as höşmerim. The Çarşı branch sits on Yaka Caddesi in Meram's Alavardı neighbourhood, a few kilometres west of the flagship branch in Karatay's Aziziye, close to Meram's older market district. The business states it aims to prepare dishes with home warmth but under restaurant conditions, without additives. There is no mention of alcohol anywhere on the brand's site.
