Its name references the city directly; Kahramanmaraş ice cream carries a geographical-indication registration in Turkey because of the dense texture produced by a high proportion of goat's milk and salep, and in its traditional form it is prepared by pounding on a two-metre log with a mallet — hence its other name, 'dövme dondurma' (beaten ice cream). Konferans arasında hızlıca bir şeyler atıştırdık. Ekler pastası vitrinden geldiği hâlde taze doldurulmuştu. Tek eksik, akşam saatlerinde çok kalabalık olması. Bir dahaki sefere daha erken saatte deneyeceğim.
