According to the brand's own account, its roots trace back to 1850 in Kahramanmaraş; ice cream production moved into a shop called Yaşar Pastanesi in 1980, and the business began expanding into a chain under the MADO name after 1991. The company now describes its production capacity as five tonnes of ice cream per hour, 120 tonnes a day, with branches across Turkey and abroad — seven of them in Ankara alone, including this Nata Vega location. Its product range covers ice cream, counter treats such as künefe and ice-cream toppings, gift-packaged products, salep, and a coffee-and-cake line. Nowhere in the brand's official product categories does an alcoholic drink appear. Its location inside the shopping centre makes it a quick dessert stop during a shopping trip.
