Maruf Türbeönü Lokantası
An eatery on the square of Rumi's tomb in Konya, cooking the city's regional dishes by traditional recipes and traditional methods.
An eatery in the Karakoyunlu quarter of Eyyübiye, Şanlıurfa, built on Kayseri cooking, with grills, charcuterie and home-style dishes.
Şanlıurfa eats, by long habit, from its own repertoire: kebabs over charcoal, çiğ köfte kneaded by hand, the flat breads of the southeast. A restaurant built on Kayseri cooking therefore sits slightly against the grain of the city, and that is what this one is. Kayseri Mutfağı Ramazan Beylen works from 11 Nisan Fuar Caddesi, in the Karakoyunlu quarter of Eyyübiye — one of Şanlıurfa's three central districts. The kitchen presents itself in terms of tradition, home cooking and regional produce, taking its reference point from central Anatolia while operating several hundred kilometres to the southeast of it. The counter runs from barbecued and grilled meat and kebabs through charcuterie to the hot dishes prepared during the day, and service covers breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. There is outdoor seating beside the air-conditioned dining room, free parking for guests, and both takeaway and delivery. Cash, Mastercard, VISA, debit cards and meal vouchers are accepted. Opening hours are not published.
