Kale Manzara

Karabiga is a small coastal town on the Marmara shore, part of the Biga district of Çanakkale province, and its castle ruins give both the town and Kaleler Caddesi their names. Kale Manzara works as a restaurant on that street, in the Zeytinli quarter. On its own site the kitchen describes its line simply as traditional Turkish cooking.

What it lists comes down to freshly prepared daily dishes, meat dishes, delicatessen products, fresh bread and fresh fruit. In the venue's own words the fruit is there to eat at any hour or to close a meal with, in place of a heavier dessert. Tea and coffee are the drinks named. Service is built around lunch and dinner rather than the whole day.

Seating divides between an outdoor area for fair weather and an air-conditioned interior for hot days, with a separate section kept for smokers. The entrance and interior are laid out for wheelchair users and for guests arriving with prams. No reservations are taken, so guests come during opening hours; the restaurant does, however, say it will host private events on request. Cash, Mastercard and VISA are accepted.
