The Gemlik branch, on İstiklal Caddesi, of a baklava brand that has been producing in Bursa since 1970 and exporting worldwide.

About The Venue

Overview

Hacı Hasan Oğulları's Gemlik branch operates at Hamidiye Mahallesi, İstiklal Caddesi No:17 D:C. According to the company's own history, the brand was founded in 1970 by Hacı Zeki Aktaş as a small workshop in Bursa's Gülbahçe neighbourhood. It opened its first city-centre sales point in 1983, followed by its now-flagship Setbaşı store in 1985, moved to a corporate structure in 1995, and began expanding its branch and dealer network from 2005 onward. The site states the company now draws on 56 years of experience, exporting 200 varieties of baklava to 100 countries across five continents. With six branches across Bursa, the business produces baklava, pastries, cheese-filled böreks, pide, thin-sliced döner, lahmacun and kebab dishes. The site lists its baklava varieties individually with prices, including walnut, pistachio, milk-soaked nuriye, a house-style baklava and mussel-shaped baklava. Gemlik is Bursa's Marmara-coast port district, and the branch sits on İstiklal Caddesi, the district's central commercial strip. Every piece of content published on the site is built around baklava, pastry and döner-kebab products.
