An ice-cream shop in Serdivan, Sakarya, making additive-free ice cream from cow and buffalo milk with local salep, open daily until 1am.
Serdivan is one of Sakarya's metropolitan districts, sitting 5-6 kilometres west of Adapazarı; it had a population of more than 148,000 as of the 2020 census, gained district status in 2008, and a significant share of its population descends from migrants who settled the area during the Greek-Turkish population exchange. On Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan Bulvarı in Serdivan's İstiklal neighbourhood, Göynüklü Ömer Usta runs as an ice-cream shop. Its own promotional text states that its ice cream contains no added aroma, colouring, preservative, emulsifier, gelatin, glucose, margarine, artificial salep or instant sauce/essence; it uses cow milk, buffalo milk and local salep, and its fruit-flavoured varieties use one hundred percent real fruit rather than concentrate or flavouring. The venue offers outdoor seating, free WiFi and delivery service, plus an on-site toilet for guests. It opens its doors at 10am and stays open until 1am, every single day of the week.
