Erzin is the northernmost district of Hatay, laid out on flat ground between the western foot of the Amanos mountains and the Mediterranean shore. The D-400 highway linking Adana to İskenderun runs through it, and the district is known locally for its abundant groundwater and its citrus groves. Atatürk Caddesi is the spine of the town centre, the street where shops and everyday movement collect. Duranoğlu Restoran works from that street, within the Cumhuriyet quarter.
