The Çukurambar, Ankara branch of Coffee Lab, founded in 2012 as one of Turkey's first new-wave specialty coffee shops, roasting its own beans.
Coffee Lab operates a branch on Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu Caddesi in the Kızılırmak/Çukurambar quarter of Ankara's Çankaya district, part of a third-wave coffee shop chain. Founded in Ankara in 2012, the business describes itself as one of Turkey's first new-generation specialty coffee shops, importing green coffee beans itself and roasting them in-house before serving. It has since grown to roughly five branches across Ankara, adding locations on Ankaralılar Caddesi, Tuna Caddesi, in Konutkent, and in Meşrutiyet Mahallesi alongside this Çukurambar address. The menu runs across seven sections: desserts, milk-based coffee drinks, cold drinks, straight coffee, specialty formulations, lemonades, and add-on flavourings. Everything on it sits within coffee, tea, lemonade and dessert — nothing alcoholic appears in any category. Roasting its own beans in-house is what has kept Coffee Lab counted among the older names on Ankara's third-wave coffee scene.
