Bacca Cafe

Coffee first, food alongside it — that is how Bacca Cafe frames itself on its own site. The café sits at 23/A Menderes Caddesi in the central district of Afyonkarahisar, an inland city in western Turkey, and runs through the whole day, from breakfast and brunch to lunch and the evening. Sweet items carry a fair share of the menu: tarts and chocolate next to coffee, tea and freshly squeezed juice.

The room divides between an outdoor seating area used in fair weather and an air-conditioned interior for hot days, with a separate section set aside for smokers. Access is spelled out: the entrance and interior are described as barrier-free for wheelchair users and for guests arriving with prams, and pets are welcome. Free WiFi makes it a practical spot for a long sitting or for working alone. No booking system is offered, so guests simply walk in. Cash, Mastercard, VISA, debit cards and contactless payment are all accepted, and the café says it will host small private events on request. The site's imprint names Çiğdem Peten as the responsible person.
